IMPORTANT PRESS RELEASE FROM PDN

I purchased my PDN (Pandigital Novel) in early June 2010 and immediately fell in love with it. At that time the operating system was, to say it nicely, “Quirky”. However by mid-July Pandigital had made great improvements in the system and it began to show some of it’s great potential.
Wired magazine had an article earlier this year in which they talked about the iPad and the future of computing. I suggest everyone read it and some of the linked articles on their site. http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2010/02/ipad-future/
I have been active with computers since the mid-1960′s. I have seen them develop from large hand-wired panels for programming to punch cards to the first CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) with a keyboard attached to personal computers to laptops and now the pad or slate or whatever we decide to call these flat computers. Right now I’m trying to decide what are the “killer” apps that will make devices like the PDN indispensable at home and at work.
On the “Wish List” page I will share some of my wishes and I hope you will too. Between us just maybe we can identify those “killer” apps and encourage someone to build them.
So welcome to the future of computing. Let’s share our frustrations, our delights and our hopes.
Unfortunately I have to say a word about how we behave. I expect all comments to be professional and friendly. If you have a problem with me, this site, your PDN or anything else I expect you to explain it in detail without any personal animosity. That way we can all benefit from your experience.
Any comments containing profane or abusive language of any type will be removed and the person making the comments may be banned from further participation.
Thank you for your participation and support. Enjoy this web page and your PDN.

PS: Of course you can also view this web site on your PDN. Try it.
